POLICORO SWING STORIES

This contest is thought in the 2019 Edition to connect on one side, the tribute this edition dedicates to the great movie masterpiece “The Cotton Club”, and to another, to collect numerous video testimonies of life and experiences during the week of Policoro in Swing.

Thus “PolicoroSwingStories” was born, a video contest through which all the participants will have the chance to express what Policoro in Swing is for them, turning - in a few frames - into directors of their own experience within the festival.

RULES 2026

Il Video Contest è rivolto a tutti coloro che partecipano al dance camp, party e after party dell’edizione 2026 di Policoro in Swing.

1) You may participate with only 1 video per author.

2 The video must have a maximum duration of 1.30 min.

3) The video can be edited and customised as the author wishes. Creativity and originality will be rewarded, but also simplicity if it reflects the spirit of the festival.

4) Video must be sent in before 20th of September 2026

  • On-line via wetransfer.com
  • to the email box policoroswing.team@gmail.com , indicating as object PolicoroSwingStories policoroswing.team@gmail.com, indicando come oggetto PolicoroSwingStories;
  • The author at the time of sending will indicate the title of the video, its name and surname, address and telephone number
  • Each author is responsible for the content of his videos and is aware that the photographic material produced can be used like promotional material by the organization of Policoro in swing.

  • Videos that reflect situations or people without permision, which can damage their privacy, dignity or image are forbidden

All videos received will be examined by a specialised jury. The decisions of the jury are final. The jury reserves the right to determine the 5 finalist videos from which the winner will then be selected.

The organization will be able to publish the videos on its social networks indicating the author.
